Welcome to AML Architects! For the past 17 years, we have been dedicated to designing beautiful, sustainable homes. Our speciality is in creating house extensions, one-off houses, multi-generational homes and housing developments that foster happier, more fulfilled families.
Based in Sutton, we primarily serve South London, Surrey, and Kent. However, we are always excited to take on projects across other parts of the UK.

Where We Started
Adrian graduated from Nottingham University (RIBA Part 1) and London Metropolitan University (RIBA 2 & 3). He has worked for Large, Medium and Small practices while working on Major, Intermediate and Minor projects respectively, before establishing AML Architects in 2007. Adrian is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Registered with the Architects Registration Board.

Many planning applications get refused. Besides the frustration of not being able to progress with the proposal, there is the ever-increasing cost of running a planning application. Planning policies are subjective in the way they are written and implemented. Quite often, even a planning case officer and their manager will have differences of opinion.
It takes skill, knowledge, and experience to navigate the planning system and achieve consistent, successful results. We guide people through what can be a very complex process to obtain that all-important approval notice. Contract Administration
Managing Quality, Time, and Cost
In the UK, two main statutory approvals are required for building: Planning and Building Regulations. As experienced residential and commercial architects in South London, we provide comprehensive architectural services to secure these approvals and support your project from start to finish. Gaining these two statutory approvals is a minimum. We can help you prepare the contract documents and administer the signing and implementation of the documents, this is called ‘Contract Administration’.
